All the stations look like big industrial complexes the size of a football field . Hideous looking and they do not even have a restroom .
This rail system went from 6.8 billion to now 12.5 billion and the project is only half finished...the easy part ..as construction heads into downtown Honolulu it is turning into a nightmare that will last many years to come...and no one even uses the part thats finished as it goes nowhere....this rail system has not taken even one car off the road and is a complete waste of money. The rail system is only good on paper but the reality is it doesn't go anywhere..
The project went from 6.8 billion 15 years ago to now 12 .5 billion and its less than half built and it has not taken even 1 car off the road . Why would you ride it ? It goes nowhere .
Almost every rail station is in most worst possible place they could put them . Most are in the middle of nowhere. Like the one at Lagoon Drive . There is no reason to take the train there because its in a industrial area and to go anywhere you would just take the bus . The bus will let you off close to your destination and the rail far away .
